RankPilotBot

RankPilotBot fetches pages for the people who use RankPilot, an SEO tool. It fetches only sites that a RankPilot user asked it to look at: their own site, or a competitor they chose. It follows robots.txt and waits between requests.

How to recognise it

The user agent is RankPilotBot/1.0 (+https://serpup.app/bot). The robots.txt token is RankPilotBot.

Blocking it

Add this to robots.txt on the site you want to keep it away from.

User-agent: RankPilotBot
Disallow: /

Allowing it when a firewall refuses it

Allow requests whose user agent contains RankPilotBot. It sends no cookies and never submits forms.
